If they talk about postponing the election, we should talk about moving it up.

Maybe that would shut them up?

Also, Why couldn't we talk about moving it up ?
It would make a longer transition but they will need the time to do that correctly anyway.

and appoint the electors instead? Read the “in case if no election” section.

This scenario has happened before. Colorado, 1876.

I would hope it doesn’t happen, but it is a remote possibility.

Trump is legally president until 12 pm on January 20, 2021 no matter when the election is held.
