White House Economic Adviser Worries As Virus Spreads In West Wing: 'It's Scary To Go To Work'

White House economic adviser Kevin Hassett revealed on Sunday that he fears going to work in the White House because of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

"Testing is a key component of it, but even testing doesn't remove all risks," Hassett told CBS host Margaret Brennan. "The interesting or sad thing about my dear colleague who was stricken with the coronavirus this week is that we were getting testing -- because we're close to the president every day -- and even with that, she tested negative one day and then positive the next day. And she's going to work in a community where people are being tested."

"This is a very, very scary virus," he added. "People are going to go back to work and they're going to be worried about things and it's going to take a while for things to get back to normal, I assume."

"When it comes to your work environment you just described," Brennan wondered, "do you wear a mask, are you going to continue to show up for work at the White House?"

I have no sympathy for you dude, none...............you projected a data model that is being used by other psychopaths that are opening up there states for business..........and now you want people to know that your scared to go to fucking work.......................tell that to the 80,000+ plus families that have lost a loved one and going on 1.5 million that have tested positive ....................

I recently read of a nurse who rushed maskless to assistance of a patient in crisis and was dead in fortnight. I expect she was scared, too.

These fucks in the White House killed her, and they can rot on earth and burn in hell for all the sympathy they will ever get from me, for their fears or their suffering or their long overdue deaths.

I guess it's the guy whose model predicted 0 deaths starting from the 15th May (and declining absolute fatality numbers after that...). So he'll only have to hold on until the end of the week and everything's peachy. Go back to work.

They’ll look you in the eye and lie to you all the while knowing it’s a lie and knowing you know — and still doing it and daring you to call them on it.

should have the human decency to resign and let some adults stir the nation through this shitstorm they caused.

Cry me a river. It’s ok to endanger the rest of the country, but a different thing when it hits home, eh? I hope everyone who has sold their soul to work for that evil fuck gets to experience the horror that the rest of us have been experiencing. Most of all, I hope the main characters get it and die a horribly painful death.

Was that too evil to wish for?

If he's afraid how does he think the front line workers feel? You wonder how they can get more stupid.

You fuckers. Your boss says it’s a hoax and/or just the flu. Get your asses to work. Screw social distancing. No masks, gloves, or testing, like the rest of America. And shut the fuck up. No one really cares about you.

...that a guy who claims the daily death number will be ZERO(!) In 6 days is still being interviewed on national TV.
He's revealed himself to know nothing about this disease, nothing about the actuarial math of risk & hazard assessment, and only the definitions of a few statistical terms.
You'd think being a supply wider would be revealing enough.
His "cubic" model has reduced any reasonable doubt of his idiocy to zero.

Whether he goes in to the office of not, Hassett still draws his pay. Now think about meat processing plant workers where dozens of co-workers are already out with infections. Their plant reopens, and if they don't go in they lose their job, can't even draw unemployment, and no personal protective equipment from their employer.

At least you're somewhere you could do something about this, Kevin, unlike millions of Americans across the country. But you won't do anything, will you Kevin? You're just going to whine about how scared you are as if anyone should give a tin shit about you.
