Entitled White Man, Todd Starnes, Whines About Wearing A Mask When He Went To Buy A Toaster

Politics 5/09/20 10:18 am Read time: 1 minute

Todd Starnes is really upset that he was asked to wear a mask and use hand sanitizer when he went to a store to buy a toaster — during a global pandemic that has killed almost 80,000 people.
By Red Painter

We all know that the most oppressed group in all of history is (checks notes) White Christian Republican Men. They were sold into slavery, forbidden from drinking at certain water fountains or from riding in the front of the bus. They didn't get the right to vote until the last century. They have never won the Presidency. Hell, they don't even get to control their own bodies.

Wait. Wrong groups.

White men control pretty much EVERYTHING.

So, imagine Todd Starnes frustration when he was told by the mean store person that he had to not only wear a mask — but he had to use hand sanitizer — DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC. Yes, to put others' safety before your own convenience is hard for the White Christian Republican Man. After all, he has been raised to expect everyone else to bend to his will, not the other way around.

Here is Todd's super whiny tweet:

The irony is that while it’s true that white men control “just about everything,” this particular white man controls just about nothing—not even what he must or must not wear on his face. He’s mad about that—for all the wrong reasons, and he probably blames all the wrong people for his misery.

There exist too many aMErikans in our United States of America, a country divided in two; the sane and the non- educable.

Among all of the people existing and transacting in our shared reality, karmic trajectories appear to go two ways.
Some live lives of progress and others seem to be on regressive paths.

The continuum can be measured in units of 'ME' and 'MINE'. Greed, grab, grope, graft, graffiti and gangs are all heavy with ME-ness.

I have spoken to people who refuse to wear a face covering and want sporting events with fans in attendance. Online, I have read people wanting Disney theme parks to open without face coverings being mandatory. No wonder so many politicians have gotten so bad over the decades!

Too many Americans have been spoiled into selfishness and a strangely naïve bubble. The three most popular candidates in the 2016 Republican Primary were Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio (three of the five or six worst choices).
