Can someone contact the right people at FB to get the horrible page off? Warning VERY OFFENSIVE!

http://www.facebook.com/barackobamasdeadfly

I tried when it was put on my page but they actually said it was not "hate speech". I sent them another letter and suggested that maybe they did not open the link. So now I found a page where they are using the picture as a background and would like to get it the Hell off!

These people are so ignorant!

3. I don't know. When there is a post that is bad there are arrows that you can follow

that will lead you to a place where you can report it. That's what I did when it showed up just as a picture from a link from a "friend" on my page. And FB said it was not hate speech!!!!!

I beg to differ!

They do pretty much nothing about it.

Now, show a little titty there and then see how fast they act.

This is nothing new, but I am surprised by the sudden outrage when it is the koran that is desecrated.

(first of all Ofili's piece is in no way offensive and most certainly is art and I could even make the case that Serrano's Piss Christ is art)

In Western culture there is a long tradition of mocking religion that doesn't exist within Islam. Does that mean that one shouldn't depict Islam in a negative manner? Of course not. But particularly in times like these, deliberate provocation of the ugliest kind, is not only moronic but vile. And Facebook has no obligation to host it.

13. As a Christian, I am grossly offended by what you call art

Are you honestly saying your right to create and display such art should be contingent on my willingness to kill you over it?

16. While the picture is a statement, I doubt its creators would consider it art.

They would probably agree with you about the crucifix in urine, but that just makes it even worse because they are simply trying to offend.

Our community standard on hate speech is:
Facebook does not permit hate speech. While we encourage you to challenge ideas, institutions, events, and practices, it is a serious violation to attack a person based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or medical condition.

I did respond on their feedback link on their response and let them know that this was not satisfactory given the scale of violence occurring in the world over something similar.
