We knew for a few years about Hitler, but waited until Pearl Harbor to start fighting.

I researched the comic book the boy is reading, and found the cover:
Note the racist images on the cover. Here this young boy is in an internment camp during a war, and he has to be subjected to denigrating racist caricatures.

(45,261 posts)anyone who doesn't like to stay at home or wear a mask can be forcibly sent to internment camps because of national security and public safety.
The US Constitution existed when this happened to Japanese Americans. And even today, Asian-Americans are facing discrimination and violent hate crimes over COVID-19.
