So even though we could have stayed at her mother's, or with one of her sisters, or with her daughter, the mere fact that they're taking COVID-19 so seriously in Mexico was enough to giver her second thoughts and stay in quarantine.

The OP has family there and their view may be different than the official numbers.

(2,640 posts)I walked around town yesterday, and there were people out congregating in groups, and filling restaurants (at least the ones that were open), with barely anyone wearing a mask.
I'm in Texas, and we didn't even peak before our idiot governor decided to re-open, making it illegal for local governments to require masks.
