I'm sitting in a Menards parking lot in Princeton, IN

My husband went in for some tools he needs for his job. Yes, he is still working outside our home.

Beautiful day, windows on the car are partially down to catch a nice breeze.

Remember, this is the middle of bright Red Trumpster town.

Menards only has one entrance open. People are stomping away from the others like children because they aren't being allowed in to their chosen door

Menards is requiring masks to he let in. Some people have them, some people don't, and then go to their car an miraculously find one. Others stomp off like children because they aren't being let in without one

If right wing Toadies Menards is turning away customers without masks, this virus is serious.

All of a sudden I see Snowflakes...

One way in and one way out but people were all over the place. No social distancing. No safeguards for cashiers besides masks. They were selling masks if you didn't have one for a dollar. Paper masks.

John Menard's desire to sell you a mask for a $1 is greater than his concern for your health and well being.

Practice social distancing, wear a mask, do not go out unless absolutely necessary.

This may be the better part of two years, living this way. Please try to adjust. Save some lives. The life you save may be your own - it might also be your offspring, your parents, your grandparents, your siblings, your friends, your coworkers, and every acquaintance. Stay safe.

Is New Jersey red? I lose count.

But I live in a red county in NC, and pretty much everyone is wearing masks. Many without, but much more than I expected are wearing them.

My own personal demographic observation. Older lone white men and young white men - no mask. Some on the older men of any race, but only when accompanied by a woman lol. Older AA men and women - masks. Young AA men - no masks at all. Young AA women - some wearing some not. Same for young white women.

I really can’t see this as just as political party thing unless every AA person I see without a mask is a Repub. Same for the white folks.

If my area had textile companies making masks, then MAYBE more right-wingers would be wearing them around here? I could see them acting “patriotic” about it in that circumstance, maybe.

We went to Publix yesterday, vast majority of people masked... didn't pay enough attention to assess ratios vs age/race Employees were masked.

The Ingles closest to my house has about 75% of customers masked, but as of last week NO employees.

I am selling veggie plants from my yard, all customers masked despite being outdoors and leaving lots of distance.

Number one of course is way too many Republicans and Trump enablers but also it has a ton of heat and humidity during the summer so it's like a sauna outside.

Use the lighter weight mask and only wear it in stores etc.

Grocery store curbside is a pain, but I've been doing it. (2 day wait) But places like Office Depot, Academy, Lowes etc. are easy if you know what you want. I figure the less exposure the better the off everyone is.

Office Depot has my order ready in 9 minutes after I ordered! Kohl's took only 20 minutes.

In fact, I can’t stand Menard’s. To me it is a store that got stuck in a time warp and hasn’t made it into the 21st century. If Mike and Karen Pence were a store, they would be Menard’s
