To all the Flu Klux Klanners protesting to open businesses:

Last edited Tue Apr 28, 2020, 02:49 AM - Edit history (1)

Most of us do not want to open.

Most of our employees do not want to come in to work when this virus is spreading so fast obviously.

We don’t want to either.

If the Governor shuts us for business we can go home. If not we’re stuck at work with no customers, little or no money, spotty scheduling at best and oh yeah, the virus.

Why are you guys trying to kill us?

I wonder if, with this being the height of allergy season here, she can still spread it.

I think some of them are purposely spreading it at this point. If people hadn't taken to the streets to whine and pitch temper tantrums, maybe it would not have spread more in areas where they did that. We will never know. It will all get buried and not ever studied, probably. But, imagine if we had jumped on it as a nation and stopped the spread quicker. How many lives could have been saved. We are supposed to be leaders in the world. Not any more.

I don't want this damn thing. I have allergies right now that are making me feel terrible. I have kept trips out to a minimum (3 trips out since the beginning) and worn my mask and gloves the few times I did leave the house and taking all of the precautions. Watch me get it anyhow. I hope I am stocked up now. I would not have had to make one of those trips if severe storms hadn't knocked the power out and ruined so much in my freezer.

Yes, some whiny jerks who want to kill us all get by with being asymptomatic and continue to be out there being jerks. Some of us are trying not to get it and others seem to be trying to get it. I don't understand people. I really don't.

and others if in close proximity of her must wash hands before touching face,
and preferably wear a mask as well.

Note that most masks may not protect you from others, but could protect others from your infection.

To myself. I just don’t understand people sometimes.

Sure hope your allergies ease up and those Typhoid Mary-onettes suddenly feel a sense of shame and go home.

(Flu Klux Klanner and Thyphoid Mary-monette are not my ideas. Some other person here came up with them. I don’t remember right now but will search when I’m not on a mobile. (No search function)

Mahalo guys.

Completely agree. It's a completely cynical ploy to squeeze those who are already suffering by forcing them to choose between their health and their livlihoods. And most of those people will not be able to go back to work anyway because the economy is not going to ramp back up to full capacity for months if not years.

There won't be many jobs for them to go back to so they are between a rock and a hard place. Just because business is "open" doesn't mean that customers are going to come flocking back. It's going to be a long time before many of these people can find work again.
