And the highest number of deaths yesterday. I don't know why Trump thinks we've turned some corner--

Well, he doesn't think that. He doesn't care.

He had this big conference call supposedly to get business leaders onboard with this, and a reporter said many of the business people said they don't want to open early, that they won't open if it means risking their employees and customers-- and also pointed out there's no use of opening if there is going to be no business because everyone is staying home. After all, if most of us are postponing appointments to dentists and doctors out of caution, we're certainly not going to go out to get a haircut or an oilchange.

But Trump can't think of anything but goosing the stock market.

is a complete ploy... they don't really want things to re-open...

This is all to BLAME democrats for the economy going into depression levels of unemployment.

They will say "Hey, look we TRIED to rescue the economy but those bleeding heart liberal governors stopped us when they DEFIED the president on re-opening... plus there were only 30,000 or 40,000 Covid-19 deaths which is just like the flu season... so the stay at home orders were completely unnecessary anyway!

It will be interesting to hear what they have to say. I can’t wait to hear Miss South Dakota Governor justify her not shutting down her state.
