I'd like a Marshall plan New Deal, but we might see some small attempts at your list. Just more GreenPartyVoter Apr 2020 #1

But it all depends on how Novembers election turns out in two branches of our government.

a huge new appreciation for toilet paper. There may be churches formed based on the love for TP. I may or may not be thinking of starting one myself. TP is the new gold.

I have yet to figure out why there is still a problem being able to buy it. It's still being rationed in stores by me so I can only assume it's like that everywhere.

I usually go ahead and order my TP online, but even that is not happening right now.

I did see a theory on it in this article, although I don't know how much of it I believe just yet:
https://marker.medium.com/what-everyones-getting-wrong-about-the-toilet-paper-shortage-c812e1358fe0

I don't necessarily agree with the logic of not wanting to redistribute commercial toilet paper to consumers because of how commercial TP is manufactured. They were mentioning something in regards to what percentage of commercial paper is made of recycled materials compared to what percentage of consumer toilet paper is made of recycled materials. People were using it in their workplaces and in businesses before. So, I doubt it would matter now. It is no time to be picky, lol.

The other stuff discussed in the article seemed like a plausible partial explanation.

I cannot help but wonder if they could compare notes between their commercial distribution supplier contacts and consumer level suppliers to redistribute the commercial TP as well. It seems doable to me.

But, they did have a point about everyone using the bathroom at home much more now, when before they weren't always going at home. That part did make some sense, but it seems like the corporations that make TP could adjust for a short while to make sure people can get it.

I still believe people panic buying played a larger part than they are saying as well.

So, overall, people are going to the bathroom at home more now than before, so even without panic buying, the demand is going to skyrocket. I think the corporations that supply it should take that into account and adapt. The first one that adapts and makes it available again gets my vote for heroes of the year.

trump and repub senators will be re elected. ms pelosi becomes minority leader.;

the aca, medicare, and medicaid are declared bankrupt and repealed. social security is privatized.

the great shortage of doctors and nurses (killed by disease) will not be replaced, but won't be missed because so few can afford to see doctor.

trump receives at least 20 honorary medical degrees from on line unuversities.

corporate taxes are cut to zero to "stimulate economy."

etc etc etc

i observe the trump cult about as closely as jane goodall observed the chimpanzees.

we can get out 5 or 6 million more votes and still lose the electoral college, the senate, and the gerrymandered house districts.
