What you have to keep in mind is that the MAJORITY of people - as high as 85% - who test positive will have no symptoms to moderate symptoms, and will resolve in about two weeks.

At best, this guy was claiming an 80% cure rate - which is not any different from no treatment at all.

and I think the best policy is to wait and see how current trials pan out. In theory, and on the basis of some evidence — however limited — from France and China we may be onto something here.
This is one instance where I hope Trump turns out to be right nauseating as it will be when he tries to claim credit.
