Rick Wilson:We aren't his constituents, but his audience/Neilsen ratings spreadsheet

Joy Reid:
"The daily briefings are his new TV show: a version of The Apprentice where he can go off on reporters and receive praise from the other administration "characters." He's back in his comfort zone as a performer, untroubled by the fear among the HUT (Households Using TV / Nielsen)."

Rick Wilson:
"This is what you are to him, Americans.

An audience.

Not his constituents. Not the people who hired him. Not even humans.

You're boxes in a spreadsheet of his Neilsen ratings."

Turn the friggin’ tv off and make dinner, go for a walk, read a book, play with your dog, do some laundry...stop giving him what he wants. If Dr. Fauci has something important to say, it’ll be in the news later or in the newspaper. You won’t miss anything. Dr. Birx has nothing to offer and god knows Pence doesn’t either. The MF only cares about ratings. Give him horrible ratings! Take away what he yearns for.

when they moved to the early evening. Today, the presser was on MSNBC, but not on CNN when I tuned in.

at the same time. Our local stations carried the governor. Much more informative and I hope our governor does it every day.

was strategic. They were originally held in the AM and early afternoon when Pence was "in charge". Now he's taken over evening news for all the people that would have been watching their local news at this time.

They aren't carrying the pressers. The networks stopped carrying the impeachment hearings after 4PM, too, so it must be a financial decision to return to regular programming from the early evening onward.

and he writes the script daily. Says one thing today; next day, da, da, da!, he says something entirely different; drama, keep em hooked with drama. And if someone questions him, like Ms. Alcindor, he becomes nasty and abusive, because answering to questions is not in his script. Why anyone watches this crap is beyond me.

Instead of showing a blowhard spew shit, actually report what the hell is really going on and point out all of his Administration's failures. And back it up with clips of him making blunder after screw up after shit storm fuck up etc. etc.

After all, if you networks claim to be a News channel, then report the real news of how we got here and what the problem is at correcting that course of continued failures. Use the damn oxygen to destroy him, instead of letting him hog it all. He wants to see all of you destroyed and belittled on live tv, so fuck him.

That doesn't mean you don't send reporters to keep asking him questions. Just keep everything he says on file and wait to let it bite on his dimply ass at the appropriate time.

Hell, set up an outline page with video links for everyone to see Der Hair Fuhrer at his finest moment along with what was happening then.

For hours they compare the facts and lies with video as back up. They are pissed off at how he treats their reporters and are cutting away from him more and more now. So are the local stations, but I live in a blue state and city.
