South Korea: # recovered rising twice as fast as new confirmed cases

"South Korea reported another sign that it is turning the corner in the battle against the novel coronavirus on Sunday, as the number of people deemed to have fully recovered rose more than twice as fast as the number of new infections.

While South Korea reported 105 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday, the number of people who had recovered rose by 222, said the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC).

On Saturday, the country recorded another encouraging milestone with news that the total number of people who had recovered exceeded the number of people still in quarantine for the first time. Out of the 9,583 confirmed cases of coronavirus in South Korea, 5,033 of them have recovered.

The death toll in the country increased by eight and now stands at 152 as of Sunday.

South Korea has won praise for one of the most determined efforts around the globe to test, trace and track every patient who has coronavirus, although the mass surveillance effort has left some people uncomfortable."

drumpf made us wait 11 weeks while the small biotech co. he's a part owner in tried to gear up and produce the tests. It took 11 weeks because they didn't have the infrastructure or expertise to do this, just drumpf as a part owner induced CDC to give them the only approved contract for shipping the tests anywhere in the nation. That is why we are so sick here, plus he thinks he can hide the numbers by limiting testing so we don't blame him. He wants people dying at home in secret for his profits. Now he wants to open us back up, have the infections skyrocket so there's a national disaster this fall and he can call off elections. And yes, in a National Emergency, I believe he can do this and even if it's illegal - SCOTUS will back him up and it will happen anyway. The only way an election actually happens is if he has complete control over the voter databases.

It is Joshua Kushner's co, started 3 years ago, a small biotech co. with 16 ee and that was losing lots of money, it's third year they lost over $200,000. Drumpf is part owner but I don't know when he purchased his equity share - just before the acknowledged the pandemic or long ago? I do know he refused to use the WHO test kits which were widely available, wanted to develop our own (with his own company) and only they have the contract to ship anywhere in USA per CDC. At first they were the only test ALLOWED, but when he saw they could not do it, he allowed other labs to make their own, but not until after a long time in which our infections were growing and a lot are probably still hidden. They are still refusing to test large groups - period. ADT had some Covid19 instances, they didn't test anyone else other than the original people because they couldn't get the tests and that was last week in Jax. FL.
