The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Florida is doubling every three days, putting the state on a trajectory to see tens of thousands of infections in the coming weeks, a Tampa Bay Times analysis shows.
Florida remains one of the few states with a large outbreak not to issue a statewide order to keep residents at home. Several counties across the state, including Hillsborough and Pinellas, issued safer at home orders in the last week.

(5,857 posts)is probably the best -- masks for everyone. Not surgical / N95, but a home sewn mask must be worn at all times would probably bring R below 1, and allow testing to actually do something -- tracing.

These are some article briefs from today:
Sumter County reported its 40th positive Coronavirus test including 33 Villagers on Saturday as the number of victims soared past 4,000 across Florida.
The 96 cases of COVID-19 in the tri-county area 35 in the Villages alone have been identified among the 1,798 people who have been tested locally for the potentially deadly virus.
