remember that completely ridiculous map showing red counties vs. blue counties, showing how much acreage preferred donnie in 2016?

they'll do something similar. most of the deaths will be concentrated in big cities, so they'll show how few deaths per acre there were in wyoming or whatever, and they'll insist that it was blue state governors who screwed up.

ah, the power of propaganda....

High population density areas - i.e. blue areas - are going to do worse. That’s how infectious disease works.

Wishing death on people you don’t like is not a good look.

I hope I survive this. I hope my sisters and their families, who also live in "red" states, survive the incompetency of their state's leadership, as well. Hope my friends don't die, either.

Ohio's responses started on 2/1 tracking persons of interest adn training staff for a COVID 19 call center.
Higher education classes suspended 3/10 (when there were a grand total of 3 confirmed cases)
Access to nursing homes limited - 3/11
Secondary education suspended - 3/12
Food, beverages, etc. carryout only - 3/15
Visitation at jails limited 3/15
Order that gatherings of 50+ people be cancelled 3/15
Salons, barbershops, etc. closed 3/19
Adult day care closed 3/21
Entertainment centers closed 3/21
Stay at home order 3/22
Daily briefings starting 3/10 (there will not be one tomorrow (Sunday) - the first day off since 3/10)

Yup. We're just going on with our regular lives.

In contrast, on March 23, in Louisiana (with a democratic governor), with 34 deaths (a number Ohio has not yet reached) residents were "ordered" to voluntarily stay home. Mardi Gras was held on February 25 (24 days after Ohio began formally planning for COVID 19) - and the democratic mayor is now suggesting that she could not have known of the risks because the Federal Government didn't tell her anything.)

Some Republican adminstrations are doing a fantastic job - and some Democratic adminstrations are blowing it big time.

Let's stop politicizing this.
