Times are Bizarre When The Governor of IL Sounds More Like a Hospice Rabbi Than a Governor:

I am so glad he is there to give us support. This is just the beginning of his daily briefing the whole thing was great as usual. He was discussing expanding medicaid and getting more people on medicaid and people not needing to renew their medicaid this year. Stopping prior approvals for doctor visits.

For the grocery stores enforcing the 6 foot rule and putting sneeze guards up by the cashiers. No reusable bags.

My mother was a Catholic and the rabbi was the only clergy available at that time. He stayed with us the entire time. The hospital did call in a priest, who stayed briefly. The rabbi was terrific, and kept in touch for a while afterwards.

Thanks for the comparison.
