(62,444 posts)It allows you to see the breakdown by country and state, along with linear and log plot graphs.

(35,300 posts)There are reported cases and deaths. Those discharged or otherwise reported on by hospitals/doctors are discharged. But if you're tested, sent home, and recover 8 days later nobody's going to check up and say you're recovered.
At some point either they'd have to track you down to see if you're still sick or are recovered, but that might be in three months. Or maybe they'll just figure that since you're not among the dead you're among the recovered.
If the site didn't report the "recovered" number nobody would notice. The site I use has "active cases", which is just the reported minus deaths. It, too, is trash data.

NO! You don't stink at google! I wasn't using google anyway!
I started taking a photo of the statistics graphics, as I watched the coverage in real time. I'm fascinated by that - just weird that way.
And I realized that every time you take a photo, there's a time stamp on that photo denoting when you took it, so that would be an interesting, if totally amateur, way to track the speed and scope of the outbreak.
So that's all this is.

Some miserable milestones:
At 5:57pm, there are now more than two-thousand deaths. 2003, to be exact. Yep, we jumped that hurdle.
And another one:
The confirmed cases number is up above 120-thousand. 120,124, to be exact.
