Leaders at Glenview church say dozens showing COVID-19 symptoms in days following a worship service

"Forty-three people who attended a March 15 service at The Life Church of Glenview are now displaying symptoms of COVID-19, the illness caused by the coronavirus, the pastor’s wife wrote in a Facebook post Wednesday.

Layna LoCascio said in the social media post that not everyone has been tested, but “whoever gets a test done ends up being positive, and we all have the same symptoms.”

LoCascio is the wife of the church’s pastor, Anthony LoCascio. He is said to be ill, as well.

She mentioned in the post three people who tested positive for COVID-19 and who have been hospitalized.

Many who are affected are recovering at home, but some are hospitalized with pneumonia, including a man with cancer who is on a ventilator in an intensive care unit, according to the post."

But no where in the Bible does it say, "involve yourself in needless dangers because the Father will pull your ashes out of the fire and keep you whole.", in fact it says quite the opposite. MANY times.

So for now - no sharing the peace, no church, no common cup/tear the loaf Communions.

And I'm just fine about it, too. I'm using what limited good sense the good Lord gave me.

are truly opportunities for G*d helping those who help themselves.

Some might argue there is no God - but even if there is, there will be viruses in churches just like everywhere else. Many churches, acknowledging that science is a thing, aren't holding services anymore or are doing some online substitute. The fundies will still pack the prosperity-gospel megachurches, though, and the consequences will soon become apparent.
