"What would you think if, when your governor asked the federal government for disaster assistance"

House Judiciary Dems ✔@HouseJudiciary

Pamela Karlan: “What would you think if, when your governor asked the federal government for the disaster assistance that Congress has provided, the President responded, ‘I would like you to do us a favor.’ I’ll... send the disaster relief once you brand my opponent a criminal.”

should be ashamed of themselves. EVERY ONE of them. Do they really think their gravy train will last forever? Sooner or later they will have to face people in public, without the protection of the Mad King. How do they face their families? Shameful. Several of them need to be charged with crimes for their corruption.

During the impeachment proceedings in the senate ? He said Trump was using quid pro quo with our allies and if he is not removed ,next time it might happen domestically?

I added a few comments of my own.

Trump is now extorting Democratic governors over medical supplies and equipment.

Last December, Professor Pamela Karlan said to the House Judiciary Committee: “What would you think if, when your governor asked the federal government for the disaster assistance that Congress has provided, the President responded, ‘I would like you to do us a favor.’ I’ll... send the disaster relief once you brand my opponent a criminal.”

That statement was in reference to Trump’s extortion of Ukraine to do him the favor of announcing a corruption investigation of Joe and Hunter Biden in return for the military aid that had been approved by Congress and that had already been approved for release.

Yesterday, the Trump administration ordered medical suppliers not to fulfill orders from Michigan’s governor because she would not do him favors. Trump told Pence not to bother calling her. Governor Inslee of Washington, Governor Baker of Massachusetts, and Governor Cuomo of New York all have similar complaints.

Sound familiar? Trump is holding governors, who are desperate to help their citizens, hostage unless they praise the job he is doing. Meanwhile, medical personnel are getting sick without protective gear and people are dying without ventilators. Trump’s selfish behavior has never been more obvious. He doesn’t care how many people die so long as he can pretend that he is doing a great job. Had he reacted in January when this all started instead of wasting time and waiting until March, he might not be getting so much criticism today.

............ for us all to understand: when things go bad and ranchers get federal aid funds, the money does not
go to the cattle. It is presumed the rancher will feed the cows.

With this big new aid package, trillion$ go to "business", the rest of us get $1200 bucks which will be gone
in about 2 weeks when we pay our rent or mortgage and car payment and buy another case of toilet paper.

It is going to get real ugly in months 4, 5, and 6 of this pandemic. What does the rancher do when the cattle
are sick and can't eat?

We are the Corporations' "cattle."

PS. Sorry. I woke up in a black mood. I'm 71, I'm pissed and it's about damn time we take back our country
from the oligarchs.

and suppliers of those goods and telling them to block/cancel orders from those states. Moreover, he's allowing those companies/suppliers to have open bidding wars on the cost of them, jacking up prices and selling them to the highest bidder. I keep hearing people using the analogy of 'negligent homicide' to define his inaction/action, but I'd just call it what it really is: premeditated homicide. He IS LITERALLY killing people on Fifth Avenue (all over the United States of America) and getting by with it - and profiting off it in real time.

I'm sick of being angry and continually shocked by the depths to which he will go.
There appears to be no bottom to which he will not sink. I just wish he would stay there.
