I'm going to be cooking green lentils and carmelized onions end of this week. All things that don't go bad fast. Frozen my baby spinich for an omlette. One question. How do you eat pickled eggs? I've never had them before. Can i put them in tuna salad?

Govt. has been running commercials on TV about social distancing. Daily science based updates from both federal and provincial health ministers, as well as Trudeau.

At least One Canadian company has volunteered to switch production to make ventilators, just waiting for orders.

Most non-essential businesses are closed, or only providing take out/delivery/online service.

2 of my 3 kids have fever and cough. One of those two children was born extremely prematurely and has had pneumonia three times in her life. My husband has been directed to call our GP, then 811, and then the walk in clinic, and it’s basically just a circle jerk of “not us not us not us not us”. This is a child who has a very fragile respiratory system so he’s watching her like a hawk because I cannot be there and it’s stressing us out. Apparently it is not that easy to get testing in the lower mainland right now.

The local municipality closed all of the playgrounds though and they have close the provincial parks because a lot of people from Vancouver were still trying to come and hike and there were crowds at some of those parks.
