(9,988 posts)They really think their money will protect them. And it's true they'll get better healthcare than the average person. But that won't save them all. Watch them turn on each other like crabs in a bucket when the Reaper starts coming for THEM.

This Nana doesn't feel like dying a horrible death for this idiot's dehumanizing cause.

(268 posts)I am the one who takes care of them when they are sick on a weekday. I am the one who takes the kid with braces to the orthodontist in a dental emergency. I am the one who picks up the littlest one from school when no one else can, at least twice a week. I'm the one who watches the dogs when they go on vacation. I'm the one who explains long division and grammar. They need me! I'm the one who loans my car when someone wrecks theirs. Twice this year, already. wtf. I'm the one who makes cinnamon rolls from scratch. Are there other grandparents in the family? Yes, and they ALL do stuff, too. All of them.
Grandparents, you are necessary. Don't let anyone trade you in for stock market points.
