My son works for one of the big three in autos...he was sent home today...laid off and

no return date. This means huge job losses in parts plants and other industry...I am in Ohio...hubs will be laid off until GM comes back... they will work one week full pay and the second reduced pay and then laid off no return date...scary situation. Not everyone can work from home...getting ugly out there. I don't see how we have an economy when this is over...Will we have another great depression?

The Great Depression took three years to really sink in. This one is kicking off with a bang that is going to make the 1930’d look like prime economic paradise.

Hang on!

Noticed the Auto racks unit trains coming from Mexico are extremely short. So,the real story is,hang on it is only going down hill from here on.

Mnuchin will have his 20 million unemployed by next weekend.

Tuesday in order to tide them over for a few months. Ford Motor Credit as well as a couple other wholly owned subsidiaries have cash and lines of credit that can be drawn down. GM,who knows, they seem to be back to their black out reporting once again. As for Chrysler, that one is a crap shoot at best. Fiat parts made in Italy for US and Mexico Assembly plants got to be a choke point.

And if we're not infected, we're going to be feeling it in our pocketbooks real quick.

If a company is solvent enough to keep it’s workers working will there be customers to buy the produced goods? One thing topples another.

I don't even know if it's worth it trying to stop the slow of this virus, we won't have civilization anymore if things don't improve soon. My own job is pretty much toast thanks to this.

lined up quickly. We’re going to have to have a major government bailout, like the Great Depression did with Franklin Roosevelt, New Deal.

At least we know it can be done.
