Make sure your spouse isn’t at a desk across the room in her bathrobe.

My husband has had to do a lot of Zoom meetings all week and will start teaching courses online soon. I had to scurry out of the room once on my hands and knees to avoid being in the picture!

instead of cheesy romance novels, porn, or a copy of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. If your cat is present try to prevent him/her from displaying his/her butthole to the camera.

i'm having technical difficulties. Usually I just tell them upfront I'll have to participate by phone. Been doing that for several years.

People on Skype, etc., look weird if they are up too close, look unprofessional if they are sitting back with their feet up (like I do if I have to listen to BS) or the cat jumps in your lap or a toddler opens the door and wants to play. Plus, people really look stupid if they forget they are on camera, the feed gets interrupted, or they forget to logout at end.

I never use a speaker phone either because of the echo. Even some of the folks on TV this past week sound awful.
