I can go without interacting with people much, but since I am without a cat at the moment, not petting cats in public has been a pleasure.

It's a good idea, though. Who wants to try to sterilize a cat's fur?

On another note, our local animal shelter is only allowing adoptions with no visiting prior to adoption. I understand that this is to limit human contact but I'm not sure I could select a cat without meeting it in person. Since it will be two months before I can adopt another cat (or two) it won't impact me right now. I hope this is over by the time I am ready to adopt.
