put California on trial.

The Senate acquittal of Trump put America on trial.

While people may agree or disagree with the OJ trial, the State of California survived.

Whether we can survive Trump remains to be seen, because I do believe that his sorry ass will be voted out in November 2020. But I also believe that he will try to destroy the nation in the event of his loss. He has never cared for the nation only for himself. And those wonderful GOP political hacks (formerly referred to as members of the greatest deliberating body and Statesmen of our nation) will lament the loss of what was once a shining beacon on a hill. And once he is out of office, we will hear how they, the GOP Senators were quiet profiles in courage, fighting for the nation while kissing his ass from the inside.
