I will. We can worry about ideology later. I don't want to repeat 2016. Unfortunately I am seeing that some of us haven't learned a damn thing.

(442 posts)...I honestly didn't believe my vote counted, so I would vote 100% with my emotions. It felt good to think I was making a stand.
It wasn't until later that I realized a whisper in a crowd isn't nearly as powerful as a crowd of whispers. My vote and my heart vote for Democrats. I will vote for 'Who'.

He was making that claim about another not voting for his candidate if he won.
I asked if he'd vote Dem too, even if it wasn't his candidate.

(3,131 posts)To vote for the democratic nominee. No sadness at all.
It is one reason I am still showing an undecided preference. Before anything, we need to save this country.

(23,928 posts)And the ideologues who seem to believe that some kind of purity test should be required prior to voting for ANY candidate opposing Donald Fucking Trump can kiss my ass.

(11,746 posts)Here are the questions I think you should ask, and my answers:
1. Do you know anyone here whose honest answer is no?
A: Sadly, yes. That is my primary purpose for asking. I feel a little sick about it and I am trying to wrap my mind around this.
2. Do you think that they would answer this poll, here?
A: No but how would I know if I didn't ask? It freaks me out that they would answer no anywhere let alone here. So I learn something by their answer or non-answer.

(15,224 posts)There are at least a couple of Democratic candidates that I don't like and don't want to vote for, but if either of them is the nominee, I'll be in line to early vote the first day and cast my vote for whomever is the nominee of the Democratic party. We can sort the rest of the shit out later.
