The Campaign Legal Center has filed a complaint based on a belief that an LLC that was formed weeks before pouring $150,000 into a Super PAC to help embattled Republican Senator Susan Collins win re-election in the Maine senate race has violated the Federal Election Campaign Act.

(32,061 posts)I'm betting that every last one of them took illegal dark money, and probably A LOT more than what's being reported here. It's why they're willing to let Trump walk. People say it's because they're afraid of his mean tweets, but it's really because he knows they're just as compromised as he is in this regard. And, being the vindictive fuck that he is, he wouldn't think twice about exposing them over this and any other dirt he has on them.
