Bolton is now, and has always been, a war-loving lunatic. Now we know he's also a money-grubbing coward.

Yes, he is a war-loving lunatic, but even a person like that can tell the truth about what he heard and/or saw.

for his country as long as he gets paid for it and doesn't have to place himself in any kind of legal jeopardy. He's a "pragmatic patriot".
