So Collins shouted, "That's not true" when House Managers

said tRump threatened the GOP senators telling them that their heads would be on pikes if they didn't vote the way he wanted. I think that's what Chris Hayes just said to Rachel.

The only time that silence was mandated was during the period when the House managers were first "exhibiting" the articles.

Yet, DUers continue to incorrectly claim that imprisonment is the penalty for not being silent all through the trial.

It's long been a game republicans play, feigning outrage and using the fake outage as an excuse to act without integrity.

If Collins has an issue with the pike comment, she should take it up with CBS.

a change in the Senate seating rules which would have pushed the Reporters back from the first row in the Senate balcony where they presently are seated. The reason: from the first row Reporters can see (and report) on what the Senators are (or are not) doing. Susie doesn't like that.

Silly me, it’s on the books as law (or rule) and you’ve got Republicans in there, who just see laws as something to completely ignore, since no law or procedure applies to them. Membership has its privileges.

They don’t want anyone to break ranks... and she’s one of the most likely to defect (and thus the most likely to be threatened)

I rather doubt the story is true. There isn’t a need to threaten them. They all know that a vote for removal would cost them enough of their base to lose an election.
