My impeachment trial pledge.

Every time Senate Republicans vote to exclude witnesses or rush this case to a conclusion, I will donate $10 to each of the following candidates:

1. Mark Kelly (AZ)
2. Sara Gideon (ME)
3. Theresa Greenfield (IA)
4. John Hickenlooper (CO)
5. Barbara Boller (KS)
6. Cal Cunnigham (NC)

Even my trumper neighbors say he's been there too long. They don't argue with me when I itemize his evilness.

I’ll run a tally, then telegraph it in with contributions (within a budget) before the end of the day.

Hick is too centrist for my tastes. The party powers that be are behind Hickenlooper, of course, and he does have better name recognition than Romanoff. But we will see how it turns out.

If Hick does get the nod to run against Cory Gardner (definitely too extreme for Colorado!) I will donate to his race for sure. But not before March 3.

Hick is a big oil and gas guy and I wasn't as impressed with his governorship as I am with Polis. But then I am pretty liberal. I like Polis a lot, and he's assembled a great cabinet including Joe Barela.

That said, may I ask why you think that about Gardner?

How funny.

Gardner is pretty extreme. Nice looking guy. Good speaker. Dynamic. Charismatic.

But evil-right.

fight over the giant tax cut for billionaire parasites was going on, and Cory Gardner was the keynote speaker.

What I noticed about him then is the same thing I've noticed about a number of fervent Republicans. When they get on their soapbox, they change. Their faces change. Their eyes change. Their body language changes.

It is pretty interesting. By all reports W was like that. When he talked about tax cuts, the war, oil and gas - he would somehow cloud over and any reason he might have been capable of was swamped in the sea of ideology.

So you might be right.

If he bows out there's no way a Democrat won't win.
