Nothing More Clearly Demonstrates [Redacted]'s Utter Contempt for the US Senate

...than his conduct of his defense thus far.

The teevee lawyers.

The whiney play-to-the-gallery filings.

The complete lack of any actual legal substance.

The utter indifference to the Constitution, the legal basis of his authority and theirs.

The abysmal and uncaring ignorance of the law itself.

Nearly half of the Senate have practiced law themselves. Slightly more than half have a legal education.

Now, you may think this will make no difference at all to the bought-and-paid-for hacks who've been happily pocketing the rubles, or fearfully falling into line with one eye on the folders labeled "kompromat" with their names on them. And perhaps mostly, you'd be right.

But did you see the movie "Pulp Fiction?"

Do you remember the character of Butch? And the little harangue he got from Marsellus Wallace about "pride"?

At some point, the contempt and disregard and discounting and taking for granted is going to get just enough under some of those Senator's skins to turn them into Butch.

Will it be enough?

I don't know.

But I see it coming.

prognosticatorially,
Bright
