If Bolton can't discuss what he knows because of national security, it can't go in his book

So aren't he and the GOP going to be at odds over this proposed and pathetically stonewalling tactic of the GOP's?

If Bolton's future tell-all book tells nothing--that is, if it only repeats the public information that we already know--that'll be bad for sales. So isn't it in his interest to keep what he knows from falsely being declared classified?

He won't be able to go "sorry, guys, I totally wanted to spill the beans last year when it mattered, but there was nothing I could do." Trump certainly won't declassify it as a personal favor to him even as he leaves office (since it would still hurt Trump), so Bolton will still have to keep it out of the book.

The GOP couldn't care less about making Bolton any money, of course. But I hope he'll fight any attempts they make to unnecessarily classify his evidence.

If the Trumpites are going to block its contents in the future, making it virtually worthless, publishing it now would give the book's contents the most value, (1) dollars in Bolton's pockets for a best selling tell-all that Congress wanted to keep you from reading, and (3) screwing his old boss over for treating him like shit.
