This is a textbook example of the sort of political dispute that courts explicitly do not interfere.

Since this isn't really like a regular trial in a court room, I don't know what the rules are. Apparently, Moscow Mitch believes the rules are whatever he says they are.

Damn, but I want him gone from OUR Senate!

now Jamie Ra skin is calling out to Americans to kick Re pigs asses. And they are fraud-ing the American people.

We really need to have them hear our voices.

We need witnesses too.

First, there's no case.
Second if there was (and there isn't) Senate Majority leader can't be sued for doing his job. (Even in a way we disagree with)

Get the messaging right in Kentucky. Break his power. Get him out. Kentucky CAN be won.

and then bring the louse up for impeachment again... if he doesn't lose the election outright. Then bring impeachment proceedings against McConnell (if he's still there) for abuse of his office.

We have to get real majorities... and get these no good @#$@!'s out of our government. I'm very strategically donating to various candidates in key areas we need to pick new up. The DNC could surely use some real kick ass and take no prisoner leadership, but they can never seem to get it right and they need a real communication department that unifies the message and gets it out. The GOP has always done it so much better than the dems... and it works. Trump is the penultimate example of controlling the message.

Where in the "impeachment clause" (????) is the House granted any sway over a trial?

Can someone outside government sue McConnell and the Senate Republicans on behalf of American citizens for dereliction of duty or negligence? Get an injunction on the sham trial?

The basis of the lawsuit would be the unconstitutionality of this process.
