McConnell resolution CNN has: 24 hours each side to make presentations

over no more than 2 days, followed by 16 hours of questions. No motion to aquit but instead 4 hours of debate after which vote on whether or not to hear witnesses and documents with 51 votes needed in up or down vote on witnesses and documents. That is all i got. Resolution till open to objections from either party.

I seriously doubt there are 51 votes from Senators to make themselves stay seated and silent for that long from 1PM to midnight.

24 hours over two days. Are they still intending to meet every day at 1PM or have they modified that? Those are some crazy hours.

That sounds like it's really pushing things, time-wise.

7. They should get the debate about witnesses over with before they begin any other deliberations...

....in my opinion.

Because the debate will be much sharper and difficult if they wait until the end of this process proposed by McConnell.

There have to be witnesses.

8. That's better than rumors we've been hearing. Guess McConnell was told he had to make it appear

a honest hearing, even if they've already made up their minds.

Which Senator will whine, use non-words like "irregardless," and mangle verb tenses like Doug Collins?

9. That just sounds silly - for such a serious matter.

It should take all the time it requires to present the evidence. No more, no less. This arbitrary timetable is just a way sweep it all under the carpet. It's bullshit.
