That's a pretty common trope among the mouth-breather Gunner contingent.

Blame the victim.

She totally ignored the Warsaw uprising when Nazis with tanks and planes slaughtered Jewish people that had guns. She forgot about the fate of the Jewish resistance, being slaughtered in forests by Nazis, even though the resistance had guns.

Having guns will not matter against a brutal government, the government will simply use weapons that are far deadlier than guns.

I don't understand when those people get upset about the rest of society saying "Ok, you can have guns if you want, but you need to follow commonsense procedures for buying and displaying them".

Too much faith in their guns and what would be accomplished with them.

And even in Germany, where it was illegal for Jews to own guns, many of them still had them due to the fact that, "the gun registry was so incomplete."

Fat lot of good it did any of them. She's yet another member of that imbecilic faction of morons that believe a gun is going to protect you against mechanized armor, infantry, artillery, and air power. And that was World War 2. Word has it that military technology has progressed just a tad bit since then.

It was not a stressed syllable and it came in the first couple of seconds of the clip.

That being said, Jews in Poland did have guns. The problem was that they aren't very effective against tanks and thousands of trains soldiers.

The Holocaust could have been prevented? As one poster noted: the Jewish community had guns in Warsaw but were still overrun by tanks, bombs and the German army.

And yes, this is nuts and she is slurring her words.
