protests in VA, the Biden team should put together an ad where they show Trump's tweet about how we are going to take your guns. Timing is relevant.

they've had this ingrained in them for decades - Clinton was coming for your guns for 8 years, then vote Bush or Gore and then Kerry were going to take your guns... vote McCain/Palin and Romney/Ryan because Obama was surely coming for your guns..

I had a friend that was big into guns, but generally agreed with Democrats on nearly every other social issue - pro choice, believed religion had no place in politics, etc - but, he ALWAYS voted Republican because he had been so brainwashed into thinking Democrats were coming for his guns. Heck, he'd probably still be alive if Obamacare (or the equivalent under Clinton) had been implemented earlier because he had a crappy job with no insurance and had a lot of health issues that led to his early passing.

4. We've lived with this brainwashing for as far back as I

can remember and I know this to be true. However, isn't there a way for them to be reversed brainwashed...if we play by the R's rules we could begin to constantly, with a loud voice, repeat a mantra of how we are not going to take your guns. After a period of time...even if it takes years, some may realize that they have been hoodwinked into believing this nonsense. We know repetition works, just look at what Trump has accomplished in just over 3 years!
