Ex-White House aide describes Trump’s abusive tantrums when he doesn’t get his way: ‘Not normal at all’

Speaking with host Alex Witt, Omarosa — who wrote an insider’s account of life in the White House after she was unceremoniously fired — said there was little in the new book that surprised her.

Digging into her Oval Office days, the former adviser and longtime Trump associate described the president’s “zero to 200” screaming jags when displeased.

“What is it like when this president has one of his angry fits, gets upset, and [co-panelist] Sam Nunberg is smiling as well so I can ask you both, as it well-represented here in the Washington Post does he go off the rails?” host Witt asked.

“Oh, he does, he goes from zero to 200 over the most trivial things,” Manigault Newman said as she smiled. “He starts to scream, he turns orange-red, he starts to emote, and he doesn’t want you to leave, because everybody wants to kind of edge away. He would have these tantrums and there was no way to calm him down. and then an hour later, he would call you and try to have a normal conversation. It was not normal at all.”

“There is something neurological going on with Donald Trump,” she continued. “I’m not a doctor but I’ll tell you what I observed in 2003 when I first met the man and when I last spoke to him. There is some disconnect with his ability to process basic information
. It’s not that he doesn’t know the basic terminology of the government, of its structure and functions. He makes statements that have an impact around the world; that’s what he doesn’t grasp, his ignorance is destroying our country.”.....................................

and then, so informed, jumped at the chance to join the administration. I would include most that have knowing served this regime -- as being very suspect in terms of credibility. Just my humble opinion.

(is there some reason that I should think better of Omarosa than the other WH toadies and sycophants?)

I don't know about tapes if she actually has them but this tantrum stuff checks out based on what other people say. A lot of stories broken about Trump's behavior comes from sources within Trump's White House.

She won by 3MM votes for Christ's sake. Time to deep six the EC. It's time has come and gone.

Same as 2000. Without the EC, no 9/11, another trillion dollar taxcut, no war in Iraq, no Katrina/FEMA fuckup, no rectal lock-up of our banking/investment sector that threatened a full scale meltdown of our economy.

Why can't the average Republican voter figure this out? Why do they prefer stupid over competence?

why do they prefer stupid over competence. My best guess is they buy the BS the GOP is selling plus they know that it's hurting people they don't like. US!

There he is, why is he still there if so many people know it?

Lack of courage? Everyone wants to be anonymous, nobody has the courage to say it like it is, to go public. If enough people went public, went on TV and WARNED the country, denounced the GOP enablers then we could find and end to this nightmare, but it has to come from the people inside.

1. Removal from office by the Senate. (Probably not gonna happen because Republicans are traitors)

2. Smash all turnout records in November and paint the country deep blue.

3. Support the National Popular Vote initiative in your state so we can get rid of the Electoral College.
