than I ever have before.
Finally, our party is embracing us, visibly, audibly, publicly, without reservation. Finally, the party we have supported for so long, is treating their advocacy for our full equality as something to be PROUD of.

(55,032 posts)I was thinking, especially on Tuesday that it was so great to have almost every single speaker I caught affirm the repeal of DADT and/or the right to marry whoever you love. I live a fairly isolated life so on one hand I can't believe how backwards certain people still are and on the other hand politicians and so many mainstream middle of the road people coming out and standing in solidarity still kind of chokes me up.
