Rob Ford’s claim that he is unfamiliar with details of the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act, despite serving 12 years on council, is not believable, lawyer Clayton Ruby told court Thursday.

“As mayor he ought to have had a clear understanding of his obligations. This entire pattern of conduct shows that he chose to remain ignorant, and substituted his own view for that of the law,” said Ruby.

Ford has suggested he was unfamiliar with the specifics of the Act, testifying that he had never read the document. Ruby also pointed to testimony where Ford said he has never received a councillor orientation handbook or gone to training sessions in his 12 years at city hall.

1. He's been looking as though he's going to have a heart attack,

And he swears he's going to run again if he's kicked out. I sincerely hope he's held accountable and is kicked out. He's a right-wing bullying asshat, and he's never been grounded in reality. He also has a nasty habit of rubbing everyone he has to work with the wrong way.
