A number of his songs relate to Chapel Hill. Copper Line was near his house.

Funny, while I was posting this they played Bon Jovi "Who Says You Can't Go Home". The "answer" is NC author Thomas Wolfe who wrote "You Can't Go Home Again" and "Look Homeward Angel". Wolfe grew up in Asheville and graduated from UNC Chapel Hill ("Carolina&quot .

In 2008 we went to a free concert JT did here in Chapel Hill (coming home for him)to gotv. Maybe
he'll do one again?
