Neil Peart

It's roughly 8:15 CST, and I've had a few.

Rush played a big part in my life. I was never able to see them live as i was, and still am, deathly afraid of large crowds of people. Their music spoke volumes to me; "Exit Stage Left" was a constant staple in my life.

While i am sad, Neil, you lived your life on your terms and i am extremely thankful for everything you did.

Rock on......

When I was 8, my older sister had bought 2112 and I was already hooked. It was them, Cheap Trick and KISS, and since then, music has been a huge part of my life.

I there are oodles of people who feel the same way you do. They transcended just being a band. The musicianship of the whole band and Peart’s lyrics were unbelievable.

I caught them during the 40th anniversary tour and they were so good live. There are a number of live performance on video. I’d you haven’t, you owe it to yourself.

I heard 'Limelight' by Rush used as bumper music going to commercial. Somebody with the broadcast crew must be a Rush fan.
