(33,400 posts)He has no language skills but the subjective and the hyperbolic.
Of course, he doesn't need anything but that with a voting base of gullible marks.

(3,821 posts)I can count the times Ive seen any derivative of the term solipsism on..... who am I kidding? First time I can remember. And a PERFECT word-his reality is the only reality. He alone creates it, defines it, believes it, and inanely lives in it.

(31,261 posts)The syntax and spelling was far beyond what Trump seems capable of, as is the number of pages. At best, Trump would have done a few disconnected sentences written in sharpee.

(8,844 posts)This was the writings of the New Republican Party, which is truly even more frightening.....
Trump couldn't have written that if he had a month to do so, even with ten ghost writers.

(5,434 posts)am I on the right track assuming the following? (Saves time, really.)
1. I didn't do anything wrong.
2. I may have, but it's ok, I'm Donald!
3. You Dems just made stuff up.
4. Nancy is picking on me.
5. I didn't do anything wrong.
6. I may have, but it's ok, I'm Donald!
Let me know if I got that correct. Six pages of Trump's raving lunatic verbal BS is too much for my sanity to cope with, so help me out here.

(54,436 posts)That means that they were expecting a positive reaction to it from their supporters, which makes their supporters one extremely scary group of people. Either they don't see that, or it's exactly what they intended. Neither scenario is a very reassuring commentary about the mental state of many of our fellow citizens.

(14,961 posts)the source of the million dollars to Lev Parnas. The dots that connect Trump and the GOP to Putin are more connected every single day. This could have been a distraction, I find it hard to believe those surrounding him didn't realize how utterly unhinged the letter is.

(54,436 posts)People there either get out and listen to the world around them, or they enclose themselves in a bubble, and think no one else on the outside hears anything different from what they themselves hear, including when it's just them babbling.
I'm sure no one involved in the composition of the letter gave the slightest thought to how anyone other than themselves would react to it. If the reaction is negative outside of MSNBC, the WaPo and the NYT, their amazement will be quite genuine.
