Care to share some links so we can all see what has you so irked that you felt the topic deserved its own post here on DU?

Have any other observations on the politeness of other media personalities or maybe you want to branch out and offer some spcualtion on historical figures. Maybe something like Isaac Newton only discovered gravity because he felt apple trees were conspiring against him and had to be watched very closely at all times.

but sometimes it's justified if the staff is giving them the info that they need.

I think he probably does have some ego issues. I think he's always seen himself as the marquee star at MSNBC, but has sometimes been upstaged by other personalities. He publicly dissed Phil Donahue during his show's short run and also appeared to be mocking Keith Olbermann on air during the 2008 Democratic convention. My guess is that he's not overjoyed that Rachel Maddow has become a star either.
