I love the way he challenges republicans, but lately he's had a few hot mic moments where he's yelling at either a producer or staff member.

Have any other observations on the politeness of other media personalities or maybe you want to branch out and offer some spcualtion on historical figures. Maybe something like Isaac Newton only discovered gravity because he felt apple trees were conspiring against him and had to be watched very closely at all times.

(8,556 posts)I think he probably does have some ego issues. I think he's always seen himself as the marquee star at MSNBC, but has sometimes been upstaged by other personalities. He publicly dissed Phil Donahue during his show's short run and also appeared to be mocking Keith Olbermann on air during the 2008 Democratic convention. My guess is that he's not overjoyed that Rachel Maddow has become a star either.
