Sometimes it just gets to be too much. Sat down with my second cup of coffee and flicked on the news. Briefly listened to Scalise/Cheney/McCarthy whimper about the articles of impeachment against Trump, and found myself wondering again how in the world wed arrived at this place. Escape mode clicked in and I grabbed the remote to find that the History Channel is running something called Neanderthal Apocalypse. Hmmmm

Not so the case with the Trumpublicans.

Much better than obsessing on rethuglicans.
I've heard that Seth Meyers's Netflix special is hilarious.
I've been recording movies and specials to watch when it's all reruns the last two weeks of the year.

(53,410 posts)Lots of us are exhausted. For me I feel Ive been on hyper alert since the Clinton impeachment. Over an affair! Its something that has lost all meaning after the sexual deviancy of everything Trump.
I was devastated when the Supreme Court selected Bush and I knew that one blow to the Constitution would set the country in the direction of someone like Trump. Not in his weird crazy shit, but in his demand for complete dictatorial power.
Right now I feel like this may be the turning point. It can be iif we unite to save our democracy.
