I nominate William Barr for toady of the year.

I feel his qualifications, and his contributions so far, make him far and away the best candidate for a position that requires a person to demonstrate his/her worst qualities.

What are your thoughts?

Do not underestimate how dangerous this man is. He is far more dangerous that Trump.
He knows exactly what he is doing. This is a true grab for total power of our government.
Trump is his pawn; not the other way around.

But I do think Cheney respected the institutions of government somewhat more. Or maybe
even Cheney did not comprehend how far he could reach or perhaps, ironically, it was Bush who
put on the breaks as he did late in his second administration. Barr is breathtaking. He clearly
came in with the wrecking ball in hand. And who will stop him. He is the man on a mission that
we all should fear.

Remember Trump is the instrument not the actor to these people. Barr and those behind him
are using Trump for their agenda. Trump is everyone's fool.

Trump is profoundly stupid, and easily steered. Putin knows that, the GOP knows that.

Only Trump voters do not.

This picture of him indicates that he has a striking resemblance to a toad. I mean, it is uncanny:

Barr is the worst thing imaginable in a country founded upon the Rule of Law.
Barr has no regard for law, truth, or democratic rule. He continues to gaslight the people with outright lies and half-baked conspiracy theories hatched from a gaggle of RW media morons.
Barr will destroy the Rule of Law and this coupled with the installation of unqualified sycophants in the Supreme Court could drive this country to the brink of anarchy. If people see the highest levels of government get away with obvious crimes, then what do you think will happen next?
Minority rule cannot stand in a rapidly changing demographic in this country. Shit, meet fan.
I don't think that Barr will be impeached (virtually no one in DC has even mentioned the possibility) - this will eventually (if not corrected) leave justice in the hands of a increasingly angry population.
We still have the freedom of using sites like DU to vent our frustrations, organize, and dissent. How much longer do you think this continue after the minority thugs consolidate their power?
Either we wake up and resuscitate a critically wounded republic or we watch it die.
