"Show Your Soft Side" anti-animal abuse campaign in Baltimore.

Rarely do I think these types of things get through to the general public, but this one just might. Yes, it features athletes and celebrities, however it "feels" different. I don't know if it's the slogans or the people themselves. What do you think?

"The city of Baltimore, Maryland has an alarming incidence of animal abuse, often perpetrated by teens trying to show their “toughness” or “manliness.” In response to this, the city created an anti-animal-abuse campaign called Show Your Soft Side. The campaign features well-known tough guys, like baseball player Adam Jones and musician Henry Rollins, cuddling up close with their beloved pets. It aims to demonstrate, once and for all, that “real men” would never hurt an animal.
