From Nutball Land, Rep. Collins: "Schiff will be GOP's 'first and foremost witness' for impeachment.

Treasonous Bastards repeating Russian/Putin/GRU talking points.

"Schiff’s own interactions with Ukraine."

House Judiciary Committee ranking member Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., is gearing up for his committee’s role in the impeachment inquiry of President Trump, and the first witness he plans on calling is the man who led the first phase in the process, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif.

Schiff is in the middle of preparing a report on his committee’s findings after conducting closed-door interviews and public hearings featuring a number of current and former Trump administration officials connected to the administration’s policies and relationship with Ukraine. Republicans have questioned Schiff's credibility due to contact that an anonymous whistleblower had with his staff before filing a complaint which led to the impeachment inquiry, and now they want to question him before the Judiciary Committee.

“My first and foremost witness is Adam Schiff,” Collins told “Fox News Sunday.” He claimed that if Schiff does not make himself available for questioning, it will reflect poorly on his credibility and the work he has done so far.

“If he chooses not to, then I really question his veracity and what he’s putting in his report. I question the motive of why he’s doing it,” Collins said. Collins specifically said he wants Schiff to discuss what he and his staff knew about the whistleblower’s complaint, and Schiff’s own interactions with Ukraine.

EDIT: The threat of calling Nunes might be sufficient to deter the GOP from calling Schiff, since Nunes has so much to hide and would almost certainly end up committing perjury.

That would a clear conflict of interest. I think they are trying to disqualify Schiff because he is so effective.
If they have evidence that Schiff is involved, then they should produce that evidence. However there is none.

... the Ukraine. Facts and truth don't matter "they" are just throwing as much stuff as they
can against the wall and trying to get something to stick.

BTW out here in the mid west the term "Whistleblower" is gaining traction. On a local sports
radio station I heard a college educated former OSU/NFL play use that term as in getting to the
bottom of some kind of problem. Something like, "We need to find a whistleblower to figure out
what really happened."

but they have to produce something tangible, like documents or other witnesses under oath implicating Schiff, are required before they try to disqualify Schiff.

Is that it's the 'hacked DNC Server' that's in Ukraine, not Hillary's email server.

Ya know, cause one of the 3 founders of Crowdstrike, a US citizen and Billionaire, not to mention a world-renowned cyber-security expert ... was born in Russia, which is near Ukraine. The other two are US born ttbomk ... one of them for sure is, I looked it up. And that dude is the CEO.

And of course Crowdstrike (a world-renowned firm who does this sort of work for the RN FUCKING C, along with many Fortune 500 companies) examined the DNC servers for hacking first, before the FBI.

Ergo, the Server MUST be in Ukraine right now, and there's a big Deep State conspiracy to hide the thing from the FBI.

Even though the FBI has already said more than once that they already got everything they asked for (image of hard drives which contain all pertinent data) and don't even WANT THE PHYSICAL FUCKING SERVER to begin with because the hardware contains no useful data.
