Couple years ago garbage truck came on a holiday I think and I was out there and I said hi to the driver and I started to reach into my pocket to get a tip to thank him and he stopped me and said he was a Teamster and he made REAL good money and he didnt say it but he meant REAL good and he said thanks but he didnt need my tip.

I wish everybody had a union like the Teamsters.


PS there is another good union movie, Danny DeVito and someone else...Nicholson? People dont realize for unions to survive back then they HAD to do some violence here and there, otherwise there would be NO unions now.

3. Teachers unions need to be stronger too.

Is Walmart stopped from becoming unionized? Macy's finally did, after I left there vowing to find a career that had a union after a coworker reported me and my unionization efforts during my break time. I got called to their office...fucking assholes! UNION!!!

Damn proud to a Teamster. Sad to say,seen way to many changes and most for the worst. BTW,our Garbage Truck Operators are all Teamsters,believe they and the UPS Delivery Folks are the Highest paid Folks in our Valley. Plumbers and High Steel folks make more per hour but they do not have year around work.
