Larry Kissell (More R than D/NC-08) won't attend DNC

So he said he wasn't sure he'd go a couple months ago, Democrats in NC thought he was nuts for making such an announcement. Now it is official: Kissell will not attend even though it is being held 10 miles from his district.

That's all the message the Dems who helped on his campaign in '08 need to know. It's almost like he doesn't know how many of those volunteers asked people who were voting for Obama to remember Hagan and Kissell, too. Or doesn't remember Obama campaigning with him or coming out and asking people to support him. Kissell needs a better political crystal ball cause the one that told him to hang out on the Republican side of the aisle was very wrong. That's so 2009.

75% of their caucus were defeated in 2010.

Do they want to continue to be Blue Dogs?

Fuck 'em.

Kick him out of the caucus and let him rot.

Thursday night, weather permitting, there'll be 70,000 plus people...many from his district cheering on the President. Instead of being on a literal national stage, he'll be sitting by himself and no one will care. It sure wont make a difference with rushpublicans who won't vote for him no matter what.
