The repukes have got to be fucking sick with jealousy.
They don't have Tammy Duckworth. They don't have Julian Castro. They don't have Bill Clinton.
The repukes entire convention was a disaster compared to the few hours of the DNC.
I love being a Democrat! Don't you?

Too bad I cannot link to the current headline and pic; the link headline doesn't say "Vicious"!
Did they call the rethugs "vicious" when they were telling all the pugnacious lies about Pres. Obama?
I don't think so. So, when we fight back do they call us "vicious" when we're telling simple truths?
On edit: I wish someone could get a screen cap of it.

(81,610 posts)That Deval Patrick speech just now was a FREAKIN' BARN-BURNER!!!
I wasn't sure we had a lot of bench strength for 2016 and - yes, FORWARD. But this convention is proving me wrong!
I watched Deval Patrick and wondered if maybe I was seeing another future president. MAN, he ROCKED!!!!! DAYUM!!!!
And Lilly Ledbetter? DAYUM!!!!
I am HAPPY tonight, and I have my "Forward" button on, too!

(17,192 posts)Every speech I heard was a Speech for the Ages
The heart . . . the reality . . . the power . . . the testimony . . . the True Human Love, Commitment, and Expression . . .
I was overcome with pride and humility that these people represent me . . .
And then the NPR Stooges can't wait to jump in with their catty, snarky, talking-out-their-ass venom - they're just chomping at the bit to cut down and degrade whom they've just heard speaking
Where's their heart? Where's their mind? Where's their patriotism?
I cherish the expressiveness I heard from the speakers tonight.
I don't understand how the media whores can be so cold
robbob
(3,545 posts)All during the Rethug convention, every time I tuned in to NPR it was Republican organizers and party hacks gushing on and on about how great every speech was, how great the convention was going. So you mean to tell me all we're getting for the DNC coverage is criticism and snark? What a big F'n surprise. This is beyond outrageous; it's like there is a deliberate plan at NPR to boost Romney and cut down Obama. I'll be tuning in the next two days; I have to hear this to believe it!!!

(5,213 posts)Personally I think it fits the context of the OP's post quite well.
And you miss the central point of the post count question: you were not being slammed for your post count, rather the poster was pointing out the ubiquitous use of the word fuck here, and noting that if you responded to them all your post count be be ginormous.
cynatnite
(31,011 posts)When I mentioned your post count, I was making a joke at your expense and I do apologize for that.

I am buying some champagne for Nov. 6th. I have REAL hope for the first time in a while. I just do not think that Romney and Ryan can compete with the energy being generated by this convention. Just think when they bring on the Big Dog tomorrow night! Then they have Obama and Biden on Thursday night. It is going to be a rockin' night in Charlotte and all across the USA!
